We are pleased to offer the following player development programs.

Introduction to lawn bowling: ​

​Thinking about becoming a bowler or simply curious about the game, we offer an introduction to bowling. Over about an hour, we will provide enough information and practice to help you better understand the game and hopefully help you decide if this game is for you. 
Cost: Free. 
Please bring flat-soled footwear if you are wearing sandals, please for your safety, they must have a heel strap.

New Bowler Program:

Typically, over the three one and a half to two hours sessions, we offer you enough information to give you the basics, stance, delivery, aim, weight control, jack placement, hand signals basic rules of the game. Introduce you to the etiquette and characteristics associated with the sport. If it takes you more than three sessions to feel comfortable, we can add additional sessions. Sometimes in the practice phase of the training, we may have you play against a bowler of a similar standard.
This program aims to provide the new bowler with the confidence to participate in league competitions.
Cost: $30 If you join the club after completing the new bowler program, we will credit your $30 new bowler program fee towards your membership fees.

First, Second and Third Year and beyond program:

Building on our new bowler program our first, second & third-year program will challenge you in many areas of your game related to your skill level, consistency, and strategic knowledge.

We offer assistance to all levels of bowlers, typically one on one so if part of your game isn't working for you or you want to improve a particular skill.
