2021 Men's Pairs

​LEAGUE INFORMATION

  1. ​Each Men's pairs game is played over fourteen ends.
  2. Displaced jacks are placed on the "T" as per the one spot rule.
  3. Each skip will submit the game scores and the name of the most influential player/s as chosen by the skip and lead from each team an online link provided
  4. As always if you cannot play your game at the scheduled day and time, please arrange with your opponent to reschedule. Your rearranged games can be played at any day or time the two players agree upon. 
  5. All players to do the best to complete their games by mid-September.

Most influential player

  1. In 2020 we introduced the recognition of the player that had the most influence (MIP) on your game. In 2020 we only asked the skips to identify who they thought was the MIP for 2021 we are also asking the leads to do identify who they believed to be the MIP.
  2. As per last year the skip will be reporting the score and the two MIPs online.
  3. The MIP can come from either team, regardless of a win or a loss.

Changes to the rink booking system 

Please note the latest time to book make up games, practices, and coaching designated league game days (i.e., Mixed Pairs Wednesdays) is 4 PM. 
  • Effective Wednesday June 9 for the duration of the Mixed Pairs League the 6 PM time slot has been removed from the rink booking process. 
  • The green is reserved for league games from 6 PM onwards. As the rinks are pre-assigned you are not required to book your rink. If you rearrange the game, then you would have to book the rearranged game as you would a practice or friendly game.
