If you or someone you know has a vision impairment and would like to learn a new sport, be active, meet new people, and be a part of the community, please join us on Tuesday, June 4th at the Nanaimo Lawn Bowling Club at 500 Bowen Road (Bowen Park).
We are offering 3 FREE lawn bowling sessions, 9am, 11am, and 1:30 pm where each vision-impaired participant will be paired up with a sighted director (volunteers welcome) who will teach and guide them on how to play the game. Please wear flat-soled shoes and comfortable clothing. A BBQ lunch will also be available. To register for any one session, please contact [email protected] or [email protected].
